Erin & Ryan - August 15, 2009

Erin and Ryan, I can't even start to say how I enjoyed the planning journey with her. Their wedding was just three weeks before my own. She and I often traded emails just over excitement.


Erin is one of those girls that you just want to know more about. When I was around her, I always felt like I've known her forever. I could not put my finger on it.


As I was setting up the escort cards at the venue, I came across the names of a family that I spent many weekends with in my hometown in South Dakota. Yes, in South Dakota. Then, the connection was made, and Erin and her family had visited South Dakota, and we had met each other as children. Talk about crazy small world.


The day was really beautiful. Erin and Ryan, were just emitting love. It was stunning. The ceremony was at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, and the reception was at the Blaisdell Manor.

The photographer, is the great Spencer Combs, another fun element of the wedding. :) There were so many good pictures it was hard to limit myself. She emailed me this morning with the link to the online album. After being there with her for so long in planning, I was honored to be part of their day.

I just want to first say how much the ladies with Deckci Decor rock. They are genuine, fun, and have reasonable rentals for making your wedding day beautiful.

Forgive my absense. In the time away, I managed to do four weddings in August. I also got married. Now that I my wedding is over, I have a bit more free time. I am here to blog my little heart away.
